Starting the Embroidery
1. Fuse two pieces of stabilizer to the front flap to cover the whole back.
Note: The stabilizer may overlap.
2. Hoop one half of the fabric in the 360x200 DESIGNER™ Royal Hoop.
3. Download the design free where you found these instructions on
husqvarnaviking.com.
4. Load the design to a USB stick and insert the USB stick into your machine.
5. Load the design on screen.
6. Duplicate the design 7 times and place them in a grid formation.
7. Rotate and/or mirror image your duplicated designs to create a somewhat
random grid design.
Note: Make sure the original zebra is placed where you would like the colored zebra to be.
8. Thread your machine with the pop of color.
9. Press START/STOP to start your embroidery.
10. When the machine alerts you to change threads after stitching the first
zebra, switch to the basic color and embroider the rest of your design.
Tip: Press the STOP or the Monochrome icon on your machine to make the design
monochromatic so your machine doesn’t stop to alert you to change thread after each zebra.
11. When the design is complete, remove your embroidery hoop from the unit.
12. Un-hoop your fabric and press out the hoop indent.
13. Measure the distance between the 2 vertical rows of zebras.
14. Use this measurement to mark from the outside edge of the top and bottom
zebra towards where your next embroidery will be.
15. Draw a vertical line connecting these marks.
16. Hoop the other half of your fabric making sure the marks made are in the
stitchable area.
17. Attach the hoop to the embroidery unit.

the top zebra.

the icon using the tough screen for larger adjustments.
6. Select step one again.
7. Move the red crosshair to be on the edge closest to your first embroidery of
the bottom zebra.
8. Select step two.
9. Line up your needle with the line you have drawn on your fabric.
10. Press OK when you are confident with the placement of your design.

A.3.
5. With all-purpose thread in the needle and the bobbin, baste the Back
Pocket to the Bag Back using stitch A.4.
Note: You should baste around both sides and the bottom of the pocket, there’s no need to baste the
top that has been hemmed.
6. Select stitch A.1 for the remaining stitching.
7. With right sides together, sew the top of the Bag Flap to the top of the Bag
Back.
8. Press the seam toward the bag flap.

25. Hand stitch the opening in the flap closed and press.
26. With right sides together, sew along both long sides of the Linen Strap and
the Cotton Strap.
27. Flip the Strap right sides out and press.
28. Fold up the end of the Strap on both sides to create a finished edge and
press.
Tip: Consider a pointed edge rather than a blunt edge for a more interesting finish.
29. Sew one end of the strap to the top starting approximately 1-2” (2.5-5cm)
down on each side.
Note: Secure the strap using multiple seams. If you choose a pointed edge sew a triangle shape, if you
choose a blunt edge sew a square shape.
Tip: Test the length of the strap to make sure it is at the length you want, or consider making the
strap adjustable.
