If you are looking for a machine that's wonderful for making quilts, sewing jeans, leather and upholstery, I would suggest a Viking. They are wonderful machines for going through thick material.

Esther, sorry to hear that you're disappointed. I recommend you to ask your dealer if something is missing. They should be able to tell you wheter something is missing or not and should be able to get it fixed if thats the case.

I recently purchased from my local Viking dealer an Accessory Red Kit bag for my Viking Diamond Deluxe. When you open to top there is a tray for your extra presser feet. It seems like it is missing the lid for the tray. You can see that there are hinges in the back and a closer tab on the front. When you open the lower part of the bag and tilt back the upper part, the presser feet go all over the place. Is the tray supposed to have a lid, or is this the way the tray comes? Very, very disappointed that the tray does not come with a lid. Love the bag.

I've had a viking for about 35 years and I love it! I'm thinking about buyt the Opal 670. It has a lot of features that I'm interested in. I do hope I can get a good deal on this machine!
