Organza Ribbons with a Serger

There are several serger/overlock stitches that are suitable for finishing the edges on an organza ribbon. The serger/overlock machine will trim the edges and finish them in one step. Both convenient and time saving.
You need:

Strips of organza (or other beautiful fabric) the width and length you desire.

Matching or contrasting serger- or decorative thread
Sew:
Set the machine for the stitch of your choice. Recommended stitches are:

3-thread narrow edge

3-thread wrapped overlock wide or narrow

3-thread rolled edge

2-thread wrapped overlock wide or narrow

2-thread narrow edge

2-thread rolled edge
